We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Theatre Bookings Executive to join our administrative team. This role supports the smooth, efficient, and economical operation of theatre booking processes, working closely with consultants, anaesthetists, and patients throughout the surgical journey. You will be responsible for intelligent scheduling, forward planning, and accurate coordination of theatre lists, using booking data to support capacity forecasting and maximise theatre utilisation. Working with the Theatre Manager and clinical teams, you will help identify upcoming demand, support effective resource planning, and ensure an exceptional patient experience from initial booking through to procedure completion. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and brings a proactive, detail-oriented, and analytical approach to theatre coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Intelligent scheduling, forward planning, and accurate coordination of theatre lists
- Use booking data to support capacity forecasting and maximise theatre utilisation
- Identify upcoming demand and support resource planning with the Theatre Manager and clinical teams
- Ensure an exceptional patient experience from initial booking through to procedure completion
- Collaborate with consultants, anaesthetists, and patients to coordinate care pathways
