The Cadogan Clinic is a multi-award winning day-case hospital in the heart of Chelsea, specialising in plastic surgery and dermatology. Founded by renowned plastic surgeon Mr Bryan Mayou and leading dermatologist Dr Susan Mayou, we treat over 20,000 patients each year, pioneering safe and effective cosmetic care in a purpose-built, CQC-registered setting.

We are now seeking a dedicated Recovery and Post-Operative Staff Nurse to join our warm, professional team and deliver outstanding care throughout patients’ recovery journeys. Opportunity

  • Location: Cadogan Clinic, Sloane Street, Chelsea, London
  • Contract: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week)
  • Salary: Up to £37,000 DOE + £30/hr overtime + enhancements/on-call payments
  • Shifts: Variable shifts on a rota basis with on-call participation – no overnight shifts (complimentary taxi provided after 10pm finishes)

We are looking for a highly motivated Recovery & Post-Operative Care Nurse to join our high-performing clinical team, working across three state-of-the-art theatres and our nurse-led dressings clinic. In this role, you’ll support safe recovery immediately after surgery, monitor and manage post-operative needs, and deliver expert wound care in clinic. You’ll work closely with consultants, anaesthetists and surgical teams to ensure continuity of care, smooth day-case surgery pathways and best-in-class outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

Essential

  • NMC-registered Nurse with eligibility to practise in the UK
  • 1+ year of experience in a pre-/post-operative surgical ward
  • 1+ year of experience working in a Recovery or PACU setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent clinical judgement and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team

Desirable

  • Experience in wound care and post-surgical dressings
  • Previous work in the private healthcare sector
  • Phlebotomy skills
  • IT literacy, including use of electronic clinical records
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a constantly evolving workload
