The Byng Group is a full‑service renovation general contractor specialized in multi‑residential rent‑ready suite upgrades and common area maintenance and renovations in Ontario, Canada and the Northeast United States. Responsibilities:
- Maintain quality control during pre‑inspections, inspections, and post‑renovation.
- Communicate with client representatives and track the project from inception to finish, ensuring timely completion per company standards.
- Coordinate changes during the course of renovation with account managers and manage sign‑offs.
- Manage pickup and drop‑off of material to the job site and ensure project profitability, schedule adherence and client satisfaction.
- Oversee project closeout, including document maintenance, deficiencies and warranty work.
- Coordinate and roll out project plans to all members of the project team for all assigned projects, ensuring adherence to plan, schedule and budgeted cost.
- Analyze, measure space and design planning for implementation of interior design strategies.
- Estimate costs of future products using labour and materials and assist with dispatching trades.
- Consult with clients to discuss quotations and estimates and participate in meetings with prospective clients.
- Implement and comply with all health and safety policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- A degree or college diploma in construction, civil engineering or project management is preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in project management.
- Proven track record of successfully completing multi‑residential renovation projects.
- Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to execute projects on time and on budget.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including MS Project.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Previous experience in property management considered an asset.
- Proficiency with existing and current software and prompt aptitude for adapting to new cutting‑edge technology.
- Excellent understanding of building drawings, codes and site specifications.
Salary & Location:
- Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 per year
- Location: London, ON (on site)
- Full‑time employment. Start date: As soon as possible.
