Your Team: News Live is the events engine for News UK, producing more than 200 events each year that bring our world‑class brands to life. We operate as a high‑performance team, seamlessly scaling to match the ambition and pace of the business. Your Role: As a Senior Event Delivery Producer, you will be a hands‑on delivery expert leading the growth of our B2C and Corporate events. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will work in strategic partnership with the Head of Event Delivery to uphold quality, drive consistency, and mentor a dedicated team of producers to ensure every event is executed flawlessly.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end‑to‑end production of B2C and Corporate events, ensuring they are delivered on time, on brand, and within budget.
  • Partner with the Event Delivery Lead to oversee the event stream, ensuring quality and creative excellence across all projects.
  • Manage and track complex event budgets to ensure financial accuracy and strong cost control.
  • Build trusted relationships with Editorial, Marketing, Commercial, and Client stakeholders to integrate brand goals into live delivery.
  • Mentor and coach Event Producers and Managers, providing guidance and fostering a high‑performing, collaborative culture.
  • Manage supplier and agency relationships to ensure they adhere to central strategies and high standards.
  • Drive innovation in format design by researching new ways to push boundaries in audience engagement.
  • Maintain event blueprints and core systems like Smartsheet and Slack to ensure seamless information sharing across the team.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a delivery‑focused mindset with experience leading the end‑to‑end production of large‑scale events.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex workstreams and deadlines simultaneously while remaining calm under pressure.
  • Experience managing intricate event budgets and maintaining commercial accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage and influence stakeholders at a senior level.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Smartsheet and Slack to drive operational precision.
  • A collaborative approach to leadership, with a passion for coaching others and fostering a culture of creative bravery.
