About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Event Manager to join our team on a temporary basis to support our events programme in early 2026. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by delivering high-quality, large-scale events. You will support on the end-to-end delivery of strategically important conferences, with a focus on our recently new addition within technology – LMA Edge 2.0. These events involve sponsorship activation, onsite exhibitions, speaker management, stage production and supplier management– requiring strong logistical oversight and stakeholder management. You’ll be joining a small, high-performing team where you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Involvement in the planning and execution of multiple conferences and events.
- Oversee event logistics, including venue, supplier and exhibitor management.
- Coordinate sponsorship activations, exhibition setups, and onsite logistics.
- Manage speaker and sponsor communications and deliverables.
- Support the execution of event tech tools.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align events with wider strategic goals.
- Maintain event milestones, budgets, and post-event reporting.
Your Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in end-to-end event management, with a preference for experience in exhibitions and sponsorship logistics.
- Proven ability to deliver large-scale B2B events with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Confident using event technology platforms.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a small team.
- You have experience with Microsoft Dynamics (CRM) and CrowdComms.
- You have experience working in the financial sector / membership association.
Hybrid working model: 3 days in the office (London, Canary Wharf), 2 days from home. Some European travel may be required for onsite event delivery. You will report directly to the Head of Events.
