A busy, traditional Brighton Butcher serving a diverse retail and commercial customer base in a growing business is looking for a Senior Butcher to join the team. The business is stable, growing, and customer focused and this is a hands-on role, leading by example in a fast-paced retail environment. You will be working 55 hours per week (06:00-17:00), Monday-Saturday, with Sunday & one weekday off.
As Senior Butcher, your responsibilities will include:
- Lamb breakdown, trimming, and portion control
- High-level knife work across lamb, beef, and pork
- Serving customers and advising on cuts
- Maintaining pace and standards
- Supporting Junior Butchers
