General Operative in London

When quality matters at every stage, the work you do on the production floor makes a genuine difference to the finished product. We're looking for experienced General Operatives across Bristol and Bath. You'll help prepare, process and pack premium beef products while maintaining the standards expected across a busy food production environment.You’ll have a choice of two weekday shift patterns (6:00am-4:00pm OR 10:00am-7:00pm), full PPE and equipment provided, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position while developing your skills through ongoing training.What's in it for youPay rate of up to £14 per hourTemp-to-perm opportunity offering the potential for a long-term positionMonday to Friday working with a choice of two shift patternsFull PPE and work equipment providedOngoing training with opportunities for career developmentFree on-site parkingYour responsibilities as General OperativePrepare, trim, process and pack premium beef products to required standardsCarry out visual quality checks against weight requirements and customer specificationsFollow food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and biosecurity proceduresMaintain high standards of cleanliness throughout production areasMove, load, unload and store raw materials and finished products safelySupport production, warehouse and dispatch activities to keep operations running efficientlyWhat we're looking for in a General OperativePrevious food manufacturing, warehousing, production or similar experience would be beneficial, although full training is providedAbility to work effectively within a fast-paced, chilled food production environmentGood communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a teamUnderstanding of workplace hygiene, food safety or health and safety procedures would be advantageousWorking hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am-4:00pm OR 10:00am-7:00pm
