A busy, traditional Brighton Butcher serving a diverse retail and commercial customer base in a growing business is looking for a Junior Butcher to join the team. The business is stable, growing, and customer focused and this is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role in a busy retail environment, with training and development provided. You will be working 55 hours per week (06:00-17:00), Monday‑Saturday, with Sunday & one weekday off.
Responsibilities
- Daily preparation and shop set‑up
- Trimming, portioning, and finishing meat
- Counter service and customer advice
- Supporting preparation of lamb, beef, and pork
- Maintaining hygiene and food safety
- Stock rotation and close‑down duties
