Your responsibilities as Hygiene Operative:
- Clean production areas, machinery, and equipment to strict hygiene standards
- Follow Cleaning Instruction Cards (CIC) using correct chemicals and equipment
- Maintain hygiene across floors, walls, drains, machinery, and communal areas
- Ensure full compliance with COSHH and chemical handling procedures
- Complete and sign off daily, weekly, and scheduled cleaning records
- Support hygiene verification processes including swabbing and validation checks
What we're looking for in a Hygiene Operative:
- Previous experience in hygiene, cleaning, or food production environments
- A full, UK driving licence (essential)
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe chemical handling
- Experience following structured cleaning schedules and compliance processes
- Ability to work with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals
