Your responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present a range of meat products including beef, pork, lamb and poultry
  • Produce value-added products including sausages, burgers and kebabs
  • Serve customers and provide knowledgeable product guidance
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety and compliance
  • Complete packaging, labelling and stock rotation activities
  • Support daily production requirements and attractive counter displays

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous retail or commercial butchery experience
  • Strong knife skills across a variety of meat products
  • Experience producing value-added products such as sausages and burgers
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and stock control procedures
  • Experience working within a customer-facing environment

Working Hours:

  • 42 hours per week
  • 5 days from 7 on a rota basis
  • Typical shifts of 07:00 - 16:00 or 08:00 - 17:00
  • Regular Saturday working required
  • Sunday working on a rota basis (2 in 4)
  • Additional paid hours available during seasonal peak periods
