We are recruiting for a Butcher / Cutter to join a long-established and rapidly growing meat processing business that is currently expanding under new ownership. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual who enjoys working in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment and wants to be part of a business with strong long-term growth and development opportunities.
The role focuses on precision cutting, preparation, and supporting both retail and catering supply production.

Key responsibilities as Butcher/Cutter:
- Steak cutting and general meat preparation
- Chicken filleting and portioning
- Working across beef, pork, lamb, and poultry
- Supporting catering and retail production lines
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety compliance
- Working efficiently within a production-focused team environment
- Ensuring consistency, quality, and speed in output
What we’re looking for in a Butcher/Cutter:
- Have 1–2 years’ experience in butchery, meat processing, or food production
- Possess strong knife skills and attention to detail
- Be reliable, hardworking, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
- Be adaptable and able to work well within a team environment
- Have experience in retail butchery, wholesale, catering supply, or factory processing (all considered)
Working hours:
- Monday, Thursday & Friday: 5:00am – 3:00pm
- Occasional Saturday mornings
- Overtime opportunities may be available
