Your responsibilities as NPD Technologist:
- Develop and refine recipes, flavour profiles and kitchen prototypes aligned to customer briefs
- Research food trends, ingredients, packaging innovations and competitor launches
- Coordinate factory trials and support successful product launches into manufacture
- Create specifications, cooking instructions, nutritional information and quality standards
- Source raw materials alongside purchasing and technical teams while ensuring compliance standards are met
- Conduct benchmarking, sensory evaluations and product validation throughout shelf-life testing
What we’re looking for in an NPD Technologist:
- Previous product development experience within food manufacturing
- Strong understanding of recipe development, ingredients and food trends
- Knowledge of labelling regulations, specifications and allergen management
- Good IT skills including Word and Excel
- Degree qualification in Food Science, Nutrition or a Science-related subject is desirable
