The Business of Fashion is seeking a commercially ambitious and high energy Associate to join the Brand Partnerships team in New York. This is a revenue generating role designed for an early career sales professional looking to build toward more senior commercial leadership positions. You will drive new business through outbound prospecting, sourced opportunities and independently securing smaller scale partnerships, while supporting the development of strategic proposals across the broader team.

This role plays an important part in expanding BoF’s partner portfolio, particularly across non endemic sectors, and accelerating growth across advertising and tactical offerings.

As Associate, Brand Partnerships, you will contribute meaningfully to team revenue through both sourced opportunities and independently secured business. This is a highly commercial role with clear expectations around pipeline generation, activity levels and direct revenue contribution. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving £375,000 annually in revenue, primarily through partnerships focused on advertising and tactical programs
  • Owning research and outbound prospecting across priority non endemic verticals including automotive, spirits, real estate, finance, travel and hospitality
  • Independently securing and closing smaller scale partnership programs across display, newsletter and other tactical offerings
  • Supporting the development of partnership proposals and branded decks
  • Assisting in shaping commercial narratives and packaging for new business opportunities
  • Maintaining rigorous CRM discipline and active pipeline management
  • Supporting the Head of Partnerships and Directors on new and existing client relationships

Who You Are

You bring:

  • Experience in sales, business development, media or partnerships
  • Confidence initiating outreach and managing early stage commercial conversations
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to shape persuasive narratives
  • Process driven approach to CRM and pipeline tracking, with a proactive, solution orientated mindset
  • Strong deck development skills, including proficiency in Keynote, PowerPoint and Google Slides, with the ability to build clear, client ready presentations
  • Interest in luxury, culture and adjacent premium sectors including automotive, spirits and real estate
  • Structure, resilience and an eagerness to grow into a more senior revenue ownership over time

  • Build a strong outbound pipeline aligned with BoF’s strategic priorities
  • Close smaller scale partnerships independently and efficiently
  • Become a trusted commercial contributor within the Americas team
