We are seeking a Junior Product and Project Manager to join our team in a dual-capacity role, combining both product and project responsibilities. You will support the development of our product portfolio and help deliver key initiatives, working collaboratively with a range of teams across the organisation. This role is suited to someone proactive, with strong problem-solving abilities and a desire to develop both themselves and the business.
Responsibilities:
- Support in defining product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic direction
- Work collaboratively with design, development, and marketing teams to align on product objectives
- Assist in drafting product requirement documentation
- Gather and prioritise customer feedback for evaluation
- Monitor product performance metrics and analyse user behaviour to identify improvement areas
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of products and internal processes
- Assist in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of smaller projects and opportunities
- Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met
- Identify and raise potential project risks with suggested resolutions
- Support resource planning and team collaboration across departments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation
- Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and New Standard Product Requests (NSPRs), ensuring they are progressed effectively
Person Specifications:
- Supporting project delivery, this role ensures key initiatives are executed on time and within budget, enhancing overall agility
- Captures and acts on customer insights to improve satisfaction and strengthen retention
- Aids in establishing scalable processes to accommodate business growth while maintaining quality standards
- Supports product and project strategies through the analysis of relevant data
- Encourages effective communication and alignment across different departments
- 1β2 yearsβ experience in a product, project, operations, or coordination role (including internships or placements)
- Familiarity with basic project management tools and principles
- Understanding of product development processes and customer-focused thinking
- Experience using ERP systems (e.g. Syspro)
- Experience using Power BI for business reporting
- Understanding of manufacturing processes
