Key Responsibilities

  • Develop efficient production schedules, ensuring effective utilisation of labour and equipment.
  • Liaise closely with Purchasing and SOP teams to ensure all amendments are managed promptly, supporting 100% customer service levels.
  • Ensure all production schedules comply with internal product specifications and technical standards.
  • Provide operational support to the factory, ensuring all orders and amendments are processed accurately and communicated clearly to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor and maintain appropriate stock levels where required.
  • Manage internal and external queries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Attend daily planning meetings to review next-day production plans and labour requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information across internal systems.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a production planning role.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience within the food manufacturing industry would be advantageous.
  • Strong Excel skills, including the ability to analyse and manipulate data.
  • Experience working with MRP systems (M3 preferred).
  • Confident in liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Flexible and willing to provide holiday and sickness cover where required.

  • Competitive salary of £32k.
  • Hours of work: Shift One - 4am to 12pm Sunday and Monday, 8am to 4pm Tuesday to Thursday – Off Friday and Saturday or Shift Two – Thursday to Monday 9am to 5pm.
