Are you an experienced QA professional looking to join a well-established, growing food manufacturer? Our client is a market-leader with over 100 years of expertise, and due to continued success, they are expanding their QA team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in food production, a passion for high standards, and the confidence to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
QA Technologist Key Responsibilities- Ensure all production paperwork is completed accurately and in real time
- Maintain audit-ready site and product documentation
- Carry out compliance checks on equipment (temperature probes, scales, fridges etc.)
- Conduct GMP, Glass & Hard Plastic and Fabrication audits across the site
- Complete PQE sessions to verify product safety, quality and customer requirements
- Lead sampling, swabbing and investigations into non-conformances
- Act as the CCP expert on-site, delivering training and validating understanding
- Minimum 2 years' experience in food manufacturing
- Level 2 HACCP & Food Safety qualification
- Strong attention to detail and confident decision-maker
- Ability to work night shifts on a 4 on / 4 off schedule
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach
- Salary £33k PA (DOE)
