Vital People are currently recruiting Parcel Sorters to join our client’s busy distribution centre in Haydock. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and want consistent, ongoing work.
Shifts available: Monday to Friday – various start times, 2.30pm, 6pm, 9.30pm and 12am, must be flexible. All shifts are up to 8 hours.
Key Responsibilities:- Sorting parcels accurately and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Dispatching parcels onto conveyor belts
- Organising parcels into the correct areas for delivery
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work area
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential
- Ability to lift parcels up to 25kg
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Basic understanding of written and spoken English
