We are seeking an Enclosure Equipment Technician to join our team. This role involves the manufacturing and build-up of enclosures, equipment, and machinery on our factory floor.
Enclosure Equipment Technician Role Overview
The enclosure assembly role is varied and requires skills in machining, fitting, assembly, and fault finding. Keen attention to detail and careful handling of specialist materials is essential. The ability to maintain focus and care when performing repetitive tasks is crucial.
Enclosure Equipment Technician Typical Duties
* Preparation of base materials, machining, and lock assembly
* Assembling frameworks and fitting to machinery lines
* Dis-assembly of tested lines and preparation of items for transport and assembly at customer sites
* Small amount of pneumatic assembly
* Assembly, commissioning, support, and service work at customer sites
* A certain amount of travel may be required to support installations for our worldwide customer base.
Enclosure Equipment Technician Skills & Attributes
* Good basic engineering skills
* Ability to interpret equipment assembly drawings and maintain the high-quality finish and output levels expected by our customers
* Proven teamworking abilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
* Practical engineering experience, particularly in mechanical assembly and machining
* Ability to operate within good health and safety practices
* Recognised Engineering certification or apprenticeship
Enclosure Equipment Technician Benefits
* Training will be provided to familiarise the successful applicant with the specialist machinery and equipment we supply.
* Working hours: Total weekly working hours: 37 ½ – 09:00-12:30 and 14:00-16:00
* 23 days + 2 discretionary days + Bank Holidays, 3 + discretionary to be saved for Xmas.
* Bonus – a Christmas bonus and a profit-related bonus.
* Life Cover – Immediate life and accident cover.
* Pension – automatically enrolled at 4% employer and 5% employee, which is the statutory minimum for our scheme. (After 2 years, the employer will contribute 8.5% as long as the employee contributes 4%)
