A 5-month fixed term contract joining a small, motivated team as a Planning Co-ordinator in a global business with a focus on sustainability.
The Planning Co-ordinator role will cover all the planning functions for the UK related to the production of products to meet customer expectations. The Planning Co-ordinator will be a pivotal role to co-ordinate raw materials and work with the Raw Material Scheduler to oversee the total demand.
Responsibilities:- Send production orders weekly to the manufacturer
- Create a weekly stock projection of raw materials and review it weekly with the Replenishment Buyer to ensure production can be met
- Review and plan attainment weekly
- Maintain optimal inventory levels based on business target stocks
- Review daily production plan in line with daily orders and arbitrate if needed
- Book stock in using the in-house system once production has been completed
- Create monthly production forecasts for finished goods for the next 6 months to drive the production plan
- Generate a monthly stock projection for raw materials for the same period
- Analyse actual orders vs forecast and raise any issues to the forecasting team/Customer Service
- Monitor aged stock and propose solutions
- Supply chain background with production planning / scheduling / stock replenishment
- Master in Excel and ERP systems
