Our client is a market leading company who are proud of the fact that world-class service is at the core of all they do. They are based in Hawarden, proving exceptional service to customers UK-wide. They are seeking a Sales Manager to join their Head Office team and lead the telephone-based onboarding team. This role is critical in driving revenue growth by managing and developing a team focused on onboarding new contractors and closing sales opportunities with high efficiency and conversion rates. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in telesales or inside sales management and a passion for motivating teams to exceed targets.
Monday to Friday – 8:30am-5:00pm OR 9:00am-5:30pm. Office based, 5 days per week.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing and supporting a team of onboarding sales advisors, ensuring high levels of engagement, performance, and professional development.
- Drive team performance to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs, including call conversion rates.
- Continually assess and improve onboarding scripts, sales techniques, and workflows to maximise team efficiency and close rates.
- Provide regular training, feedback, and coaching to the team, including call reviews and performance assessments.
- Monitor and report on individual and team performance metrics, using data to drive informed decisions and improvements.
- Work closely with Marketing, Compliance, and Field Sales teams to ensure alignment and seamless contractor experiences.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry in CRM systems, maintaining high standards of lead and contractor record integrity.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an internal sales or telesales management role, ideally within a fast-paced or high-volume environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and drive performance in a team.
- Demonstrable success in managing onboarding or inside sales teams with high closing percentages.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in using CRM and sales analytics tools.
- Knowledge of onboarding best practices and customer journey management is a plus.
- Experience working within a regulatory framework would be advantageous.
