Job Description This role is for a Geoenvironmental Technician looking to join a growing team supporting a range of construction and geotechnical project. You ll spend your time on active construction sites carrying out inspections, monitoring gas wells, taking soil samples and checking gas protection membrane installations. It s a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and wants to build practical experience within the geoenvironmental and construction industry. Responsibilities * Attend construction sites to carry out inspections and monitoring activities. * Monitor and record readings from gas monitoring wells * Take soil and water for validation and testing purposes. * Ensure samples are correctly collected, labelled, documented, and handled. * Carry out inspections and validation checks of gas protection membranes * Check membrane installation against drawings, specifications, and relevant requirements. * Identify and report defects, damage, installation issues, or areas requiring remedial work. * Accurate site records. * Complete relevant documentation. * Liaise with construction personnel. * Follow company procedures, site rules, and health and safety requirements at all times. * Maintain accurate records. * Travel between multiple construction sites as required.
