Joining a small, established team, the Travel Service Administrator will be based at the company’s Chester branch.

Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.

The Travel Service Administrator is responsible for providing administrative and service support, playing an integral part in the overall performance and achievement of business goals.

Core duties

  • Providing administrative support to members of the sales team, including entering bookings onto an inhouse system.
  • Checking and issuing tickets and travel documents, including dealing with visa requests.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and information in booking, airline, CRM systems and central files.
  • Order brochures and ensure they are presented clearly and commercially.
  • Be the first point of contact for a centralised email inbox, ensuring emails are sent to the correct colleague promptly.
  • Marketing support, including looking after social media accounts and point of sale graphics.

Skills and experience required

  • Prior experience in an office-based customer service role, with exceptional levels of accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong motivation for delivering excellent service.
  • Social media skills and basic marketing knowledge.
  • Well-presented with pride in appearance and personal standards.
  • Proven ability to deliver timely and positive outcomes when dealing with tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and using own initiative.
