The Business Development Manager will provide account management and business development services to independent businesses across the North East region, maximizing sales opportunities. Working remotely, you will develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.

Responsibilities:
- Identify sales opportunities through referrals, leads, networking and prospecting.
- Drive company growth by acquiring new clients, nurturing existing relationships, and identifying new market opportunities.
- Achieve set sales targets through strategic networking, presentations and market research.
- Overcome objections, negotiate terms and contracts.
- Provide updates and act on market changes.
- Report weekly and monthly sales activities to Head Office, ensuring open and transparent communication.
- Organize and attend sales seminars.
- Deliver comprehensive training to customers on new products coming to market and product updates.
- Keep up to date on technical product knowledge through research and training sessions at the Head Office as required.
Experience required:
- Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in a field‑based role.
- Experience within medical, pharmaceutical or technology sales is preferred.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to deliver engaging presentations.
- Excellent listening, negotiation and objection‑overcoming skills.
- Ability to self‑manage while meeting KPIs and targets.
- Strong business acumen with credibility to make recommendations to business customers.
