Location: Bolton

Hours: 9.00 am to 5.00 pm - Monday to Friday (1 Hour Lunch)

Salary: Negotiable depending upon experience.

An exciting opportunity working within a pioneer of legal services, providing friendly, professional advice in the manner a traditional high street law firm would, but blended with a 21st Century approach. Actively searching for a Private Law Secretary/Legal Assistant to work in our very busy Family Department. Ongoing training, guidance and support from the team is provided.

Job role

  • Providing full secretarial assistance to a solicitor
  • Some audio typing but ability to work under instruction an advantage
  • Arranging appointments and meetings
  • Telephone contact with clients and outside agencies
  • Diary management
  • Database work

Skills Required

  • Experience in private law at secretarial level
  • Excellent typing ability
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail (accuracy essential)
