We are seeking a motivated and skilled Graphics Department Assistant to join our busy, fast-paced sign production team. The ideal candidate will have professional sign shop experience and be confident working with a wide range of design software and production equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the creation, preparation, and production of signage and graphics.
- Use industry-standard design software including Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Photoshop, SketchUp, SignLab, and occasionally InDesign.
- Operate large-format printers, laminators, and related finishing equipment.
- Prepare accurate artwork, templates, and production files.
- Produce clear drawings and illustrations that explain engineering concepts and installation methods.
- Work to strict deadlines, adapting quickly to last-minute changes or urgent requests.
- Collaborate with the graphics team to ensure high-quality output and smooth workflow.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Previous professional experience in a sign shop is essential.
- Proficiency in the major design programs listed above.
- Hands-on experience with large-format printing and laminating.
