The Burford Recruitment Company is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established, independent wealth management firm to appoint two experienced Private Client Advisers. This expansion reflects the company’s continued growth and commitment to delivering an exceptional, personalised service to its private client base. These roles are ideally suited to Financial Advisers who thrive in a client-facing environment, value long-term relationship building, and are looking to be part of a collaborative, values-led team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Provide tailored, independent financial advice to a diverse portfolio of private clients
- Deliver recommendations across pensions, investments, tax planning, and protection
- Build long-term relationships based on trust, professionalism, and results
- Collaborate with internal technical and admin teams to provide a seamless client experience
- Accurately assess client needs and risk profiles, and ensure full compliance with FCA and internal guidelines
- Contribute to the ongoing development and success of the Private Client Team
Who We’re Looking For:
- A qualified Financial Adviser with DipFA / Level 4 Diploma (minimum)
- A current Statement of Professional Standing (SPS)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a client-facing advisory role
- A proactive, client-first approach with a genuine passion for delivering excellent service
- Strong communication skills and professional credibility
- Well-organised, detail-focused, and confident using industry software (e.g. Intelligent Office, Pulse)
- Progression toward Chartered status (or willingness to work towards it) is strongly encouraged
