A private family estate in the North Cotswolds is seeking a reliable and professional individual to join their household team. This is a varied and hands-on role that combines front of house service, household support, and light estate duties, ensuring the smooth running of the home and a warm, welcoming environment for the family and their guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Front of house service: setting tables, polishing silverware, preparing dining areas, and serving meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
- Welcoming and serving guests, including cocktails and drinks service.
- Coordinating with the chef to support meal service, including clearing and rubbish/recycling duties.
- Maintaining family and social areas, ensuring they are tidy, comfortable, and ready for use.
- Assisting with weekend routines (collecting papers, lighting/tidying fireplaces).
- Seasonal set-up and breakdown of entertaining areas and coordinating with the gardening team for outdoor spaces.
- Pet care (including occasional overnight stays).
- Driving duties, including occasional school runs.
