The Burford Recruitment Company are working on behalf of a private family who are looking to appoint an experienced and capable Animal & General Estate Worker to live and work on their 400-acre Estate based in the South of the Cotswolds, near Wotton Under Edge.
We are seeking a positive team player to take on the care of the estate's animals and support the Gardener and other estate workers in their tasks which would include general upkeep of the estate and maintenance to a high standard.
Job Description:
- Animal care β horses, alpacas, goats, pigs, sheep, chickens
- General upkeep of the Estate and maintenance to a high standard
- Mowing, gardening and fixing fencing with occasional woodland work
- Available in case of emergencies
What the role offers:
- A beautiful work environment located in the South of the Cotswolds
- There will be occasional weekend work on a rota basis consisting of watering, animal feeding and security duties.
- 40-hours per week (start and finish times dependent on the season)
