Near Burford, Cotswolds * £34,000 per annum * 09:00 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday – 09:00 to 13:00 Friday (30 hours per week) * 20 days holiday + bank holidays The Burford Recruitment Company are working on behalf of a thriving property business who are looking for a proactive and highly organised Property Manager to support the day-to-day management of a varied property portfolio that includes commercial, industrial, residential, and retail sites. The role will involve working closely with a small, dedicated team, liaising with tenants, suppliers, and contractors. The successful candidate will bring excellent communication and administrative skills, a hands-on approach, and a high level of integrity and professionalism. Responsibilities * Act as a first point of contact for tenants, suppliers, and contractors, ensuring prompt and professional communication * Oversee the day-to-day management of a varied property portfolio, maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders * Support the delivery of full-cycle property management services, including site inspections, lease administration, acquisitions, and contractor coordination * Manage supplier relationships and ensure works and contracts are completed to agreed standards and timescales * Coordinate maintenance, renovation, and repair projects, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants * Conduct tenant viewings, lease signings, key handovers, and end-of-term property checks * Prepare and manage lease agreements, licences, and associated documentation * Contribute to building maintenance planning and scheduling * Maintain accurate property records using the company’s IT systems * Carry out research and assist with ongoing property projects as directed by senior management Skills and Experience Required * Educated to degree level or able to demonstrate relevant experience in a similar role * Background in property, facilities, or contract management * Familiarity with lease agreements and legal/property regulations (desirable) * Strong written, verbal, and numerical skills * Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); experience with Xero is a bonus * RICS accreditation (or working towards it) is beneficial but not essential
