The Burford Recruitment Company is delighted to be supporting a private household near Burford, who is seeking an experienced and reliable Housekeeper/Cook to manage all aspects of housekeeping and daily meal preparation.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain all areas of the property to an exceptional standard, ensuring the home is always clean, tidy, and well presented.
- Carry out all general housekeeping duties – vacuuming, mopping, polishing, dusting, and deep cleaning as required.
- Manage laundry, ironing, and care of bed linen, towels, and the Principal’s clothing, including arranging dry cleaning where necessary.
- Oversee household supplies and ensure cleaning products and essentials are well stocked.
- Prepare and serve healthy, well-balanced lunches and suppers during the week.
- Manage grocery shopping, kitchen organisation, and menu planning.
- Care for fine items such as china, silver, and crystal.
- Assist with ad hoc household tasks, guest preparation, and errands as required.
- Have proven experience in a similar private household or environment.
- Be skilled in healthy, fresh cooking with an understanding of dietary requirements.
