The Burford Recruitment Company are delighted to be working with a long-standing client based in Chipping Norton who is seeking a Financial Services Administrator to join their team. Working within an established administration function and reporting to the Head of Administration, this role plays a key part in supporting financial advisers and ensuring the smooth and efficient administration of client investment and pension arrangements. This is a varied, hands-on position where accuracy, organisation, and a strong client service approach are essential. You will be joining a collaborative and experienced team who are committed to delivering an exceptionally high standard of work.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and processing documentation, including completion of application forms
- Supporting the trading of unit trusts, investment trusts, and shares
- Submitting and tracking new business through to completion, ensuring all records are accurately maintained
- Reconciling and recording financial transactions
- Liaising with advisers, clients, and third-party providers to resolve queries and progress cases
- Managing ongoing administrative queries and providing effective problem-solving support
- Preparing client valuations and review packs
- Drafting correspondence, managing filing systems, scanning, and general administrative duties
- Providing telephone support with a professional and client-focused approach
- Ensuring all work complies with internal procedures and FCA regulations
- Using Office 365 and bespoke CRM/database systems on a daily basis
- Supporting the wider team where required
About You
- Previous experience in a client services or financial services administration role is highly desirable
- Strong administrative ability with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
