Assistant Manager Requirements:
- Previous supervisory experience within Hospitality
- The Right to Work in the UK
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for staff development and upskilling
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Innovative, trustworthy and impartial
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays is essential.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Delivery of guest experience at a high level with consistency through every shift
- Overall responsibility for the food and beverage
- Achieving the KPI's / performance metrics for the ongoing financial success of the business
- HR responsibilities including recruitment and development of staff

As our Assistant Manager, you will help to create a special atmosphere for guests. You will still be out there on the floor, right at the heart of the action - but you’ll be more than just ‘one of the team’. While the General Manager drives the business, it is you that manages the day-to-day running of the business. You’ll need to take ownership of problems, and you’ll live by a mantra of ‘always doing the right thing’ – sometimes needing to think outside the box. Supporting the General Manager is a great way to learn the business side of running a pub. It is a chance to develop your skills and gain the knowledge you need to progress your career even further.

What do we do? We own a collection of beautiful and individual premium pubs across Southern England. Our pubs are in idyllic settings in country villages and towns, where we are proud to be the quality local of the area, serving high quality fresh pub food in a cozy pub ambience. Most of our pubs have some Charming Bedrooms as well. New to our growing family is Harper’s Steakhouse, a new premium American Steakhouse brand that we started rolling out last year.
