Role Description
The Chef De Partie is a full-time, on-site role based at The Bull Inn in Much Hadham.
In this position, you will manage a specific section of the kitchen, preparing and cooking dishes to the required standards and ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning.
You will support menu execution, maintain stock levels, assist with ordering, and help train and guide junior kitchen team members.
Daily responsibilities include following food safety procedures, keeping your workstation clean and organized, cooperating with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, and contributing ideas for specials or menu improvements.
You will work as part of a fast-paced team to ensure smooth service for lunches, dinners, and events.
Qualifications
- Professional experience as a Chef De Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up, ideally in a quality pub, restaurant, or hotel environment.
- Solid knowledge of basic cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen operations, with attention to detail in plating and presentation.
- Understanding of food hygiene, safety regulations, and allergen awareness, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen.
