Peterborough’s premier 4 star, City Centre hotel with extensive Food and Beverage operations restaurant, coffee shop and event facilities for up to 320 persons.
The Role
- Reporting to the Head Chef, you will be assisted by junior chefs.
- Running and developing their own section.
- Working in a high standard kitchen, using fresh ingredients.
- Preparing meals for the bar, restaurant, functions and room service.
- Help the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop new dishes and menus.
- Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
The ideal candidate
- Already a Chef de Partie or commis, with at least 2 years’ experience looking to develop their skills.
- Able to work unsupervised, but must also be a strong team player.
- Have sound knowledge of current food hygiene legislation.
- Have previous experience working with modern food production and presentation.
- Hold at least a basic food hygiene qualification.
