The Role
This is more than just a sales role—it’s an opportunity to take ownership while remaining hands-on in the delivery of exceptional events. You’ll be responsible for growing revenue, building strong local relationships, and ensuring events run seamlessly alongside an experienced and passionate team. As a Sales and Events Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of pre-booked targets and smooth organisation and running of the events to exceed customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in overachieving sales targets, promoting events spaces and supporting the operational running of the events. Experience in managing CRM systems and social media platforms is desirable. You will be responsible for liaising with both the team and customers so excellent customer service is a must.
Key responsibilities include:
- Effectively executing the hotel’s sales and events strategy.
- Delivering pre-booked revenue and covers targets.
- Driving additional business through proactive outbound sales activity.
- Managing and maintaining systems such as Collins, Atreemo & Tonic.
- Keeping accurate customer records and providing performance reports.
- Managing social media platforms and online presence (including website and listings).
- Identifying local market opportunities and key events to drive new business.
- Maximising conversion through timely, clear, and engaging communication.
- Creating and supporting the delivery of bespoke events throughout the year.
- Delivering excellent customer service across all touchpoints (in person, phone, and email).
- Communicating effectively with all departments to ensure seamless event delivery.
