We're partnering with an established and growing building services contractor to appoint a highly capable Electrician to join their London-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, technically strong electrician who enjoys a varied workload and takes real pride in delivering high-quality work across both installation and testing projects. You’ll be working across a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential environments, with responsibility for both hands‑on delivery and supporting the successful completion of projects from initial works through to testing and sign‑off.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality electrical installations, upgrades, and maintenance works
  • Carry out fault‑finding and diagnostics across a range of systems
  • Undertake testing, inspection, and certification in line with current regulations
  • Install lighting, power, and associated building services systems
  • Support site surveys and provide technical input where required
  • Ensure all works are compliant with current legislation and safety standards
  • Complete all documentation to a high and accurate standard
  • Build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues on site
  • Maintain a proactive, solutions‑focused approach to all tasks

Skills & Experience

  • Strong background in commercial and residential electrical installations
  • Proven experience in fault‑finding, testing, and inspection
  • Confident working independently and managing workloads effectively
  • Experience working within live/occupied environments
  • Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications
  • Excellent communication and client‑facing skills
  • A detail‑oriented approach with a commitment to high standards

Qualifications & Training

Essential

  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installation
  • BS7671 - 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Recognised electrical apprenticeship

Highly Desirable

  • City & Guilds 2391 - Inspection & Testing
  • ECS / CSCS Card

Additional Training

  • Health & Safety (site-based practice)
