HR Coordinator (12-Month FTC - Maternity Cover)
Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a varied and fast-paced role within a well-established organisation?
We are seeking an HR Coordinator to join a busy People team on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract. This role offers the opportunity to provide proactive HR support across the employee lifecycle, working closely with managers and employees while ensuring a high-quality HR service.
Please note - the interview process will involve a competency based interview, written test as well as a face to face interview. This may be over 2 stages.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing contractual and payroll-related changes
- Providing first-line HR advice on policies, procedures and employee queries
- Supporting employee relations matters including absence management, disciplinaries and grievances
- Coordinating family leave processes and occupational health referrals
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and talent acquisition activities
- Maintaining HR records and ensuring compliance with employment legislation
- Contributing to HR projects, process improvements and diversity & inclusion initiatives
About you:
- Previous experience within an HR function
- Strong knowledge of HR processes across the employee lifecycle
- Experience providing HR advice to managers and employees
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience using HR systems and maintaining accurate records
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
- CIPD Level 5 or above desirable
Package:
- Salary: Β£34,793 per annum
- Full-time, 36 hours per week
- 12-month fixed-term contract
