The Role Working closely with the Commercial Team, the Digital Marketing Manager and reporting to the Head of Finance, you will provide effective organisational wide management of IT overseeing its strategy, continuous improvement and digital development, as well as its practical delivery. Working collaboratively with our small team, this role requires both a ‘can do’ attitude, alongside the experience and ability to research, evaluate and implement new technologies that would benefit our organisation. To be successful you should have a working knowledge of relevant software (including CRM systems) and experience of reporting and data analysis including budget management. You should also be able to demonstrate experience of managing external contractors in support of IT delivery and its support. Key Accountabilities IT strategy and continuous improvement: Responsible for researching, evaluating and implementing new technologies to improve and enhance the IT services wherever possible. Risk Management: identify any potential risks and put measures in place to mitigate against such risks including disaster recovery, back-ups and web-based risk. Reporting, data analysis and documentation of IT systems and procedures: preparing reports for senior management utilising Google Analytics and inputting to the full IT manual covering all the Organisation’s systems and procedures. Policy development: maintain and update the Organisation’s policies and procedures with reference to IT usage and data protection. Supplier management: manage all relationships, contracts and service provision for numerous outsourced support services including the Organisation’s internet and WiFi, telephones, printers, external IT support and website developers. Project oversight: manage all major IT, comms and website projects from conception to completion including obtaining quotes and making a case to senior management for any spend and coordinating the project to minimise disruption. Budget management: prepare, and maintain, the IT annual budget to cover all support, software, licensing, comms, printing, hardware and miscellaneous spending. Infrastructure management: manage the IT infrastructure; all hardware, networking, devices and cabling ensuring all run smoothly, and oversee upgrades as necessary. Website development and management: coordinate any development needs, plans and major changes liaising with outsourced agencies as required. Team support: ensuring the Team have effective provision for any IT difficulties and their solutions. Skills Strategic Planning: including a long-term vision for technology use Technical Expertise: Proficiency in IT infrastructure, networks, systems management, web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CMS), and CRM systems, particularly HubSpot. Experience with Microsoft 365 admin centre and Microsoft Azure virtual environments.
