We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Sales Account Manager to join our busy builder's merchant team. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales-driven professional with strong industry knowledge and experience managing trade accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with new and existing trade customers
  • Drive sales growth and achieve individual and branch targets
  • Provide excellent customer service and product advice
  • Prepare quotations and follow up on sales opportunities
  • Maintain accurate customer records using internal systems
  • Work closely with the branch team to ensure smooth order processing and delivery
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products

Requirements

  • 3–5 years' experience in a sales or account management role within a builder's merchant or similar industry
  • Strong knowledge of building materials and trade customers
  • Experience using the Kerridge system would be a significant advantage
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Target-driven with a proactive approach to sales
  • Good IT and administrative skills
