We're looking to appoint a Cleaning Supervisor with a hands-on approach, to join our busy Academy. Ideally you will have experience of both cleaning and managing a team. Working hours for this role are 2:30pm – 7:00pm.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality control checks across areas to ensure efficient and effective cleaning processes.
- Provide support and training for cleaners to enable them to perform duties effectively.
- Undertake cleaning responsibilities as part of the wider cleaning team.
- Take stock of and order cleaning materials.
- Comply with existing statutory legislation and safer working practices at all times.
- Report faults, risks or dangers to the Site Manager as soon as possible.
- Keep cleaning equipment in good working order.
- Maintain a clean storage area for equipment and supplies.
- Always present a positive approach to customer needs.
- Undertake training, where required, to perform to the required standards of the job.
- Coordinate the cleaning responsibilities of each area across the academy, assigning cleaners effectively to manage the cleanliness of the site.
- Any other duties deemed to be appropriate.
Qualifications
