PE TECHNICIAN required for September 2026. Contract type: Fixed term – September 2026 to July 2027. Hours of work: 8:30 am to 3:30 pm with a 30‑minute lunch break plus additional hours to assist with after‑school clubs and sporting events. Days of work: Monday to Friday – Term time only. Salary: £10.85 to £12.71 per hour depending on age.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and organise equipment, set up lesson resources and assist teachers to get ready for practical activities.
- Maintain, inspect and safely store PE equipment.
- Help run and support extracurricular clubs, sports sessions and activities before, during and after school.
- Help organise fixtures, competitions and sports days.
Qualifications & Skills
- Ideally a strong interest in sport and physical activity.
- Good organisational and time‑management skills.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Awareness of health and safety requirements (training can be provided).
- Ability to provide administrative support with departmental organisation.
