We're searching for a superstar Assistant General Manager to join us on our journey at The Broughton – with a 10% KPI bonus and a clear path to GM.
The Broughton in Balterley, near Crewe, is stylish, eclectic and full of personality – a place that never feels stuffy, serving breakfasts, long lunches, dinners and Sunday roasts, with a terrace for sunny days. It's all about making guests feel looked after from the moment they arrive – with spritzes, mocktails and bottomless Saturdays keeping the bar busy.
Here’s what we offer:
- A starting salary up to £36,000
- 10% Bonus = £3,600 – Based on KPI’s that are achievable and impactful
- Service charge that works out to about £8,010
- Total potential package = £47,610 a year
- Full time – 44 hours a week

The role
You’ll support the General Manager and Head Chef as part of your restaurant's Critical Triangle – leading the team, running great shifts and developing your people to be the very best they can be.
What you’ll be doing:
- Running shifts and leading the team on the floor
- Delivering amazing service in a vibrant, fast-paced restaurant
- Coaching and developing your team
- Managing stock, rotas, cash and POS
- Running the business when your GM is off
What we’re looking for:
- Experience as an AGM or strong Assistant Manager
- Great knowledge of wines, beers and spirits
- A passion for service and developing people
- Ambition to progress to General Manager
