Salary: BWT Grade 4, Point 10 – £25,800 per annum

Hours Per week / Weeks per year: 37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year

About the Site Assistant Role

We are seeking a motivated and committed individual to join our Buildings team. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining the school premises, ensuring a safe environment for staff, students, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to procedures and checks to ensure the building is fit for purpose
  • Perform duties in line with health and safety regulations, reporting hazards promptly
  • Support the maintenance of the building and grounds to a high standard
  • Ensure the functionality of building systems (heating, cooling, lighting, security)
  • Undertake portage duties, including moving furniture and equipment
