We are seeking a Designated Safeguarding Lead to lead the operational aspects of safeguarding, including but not exclusive to providing advice and support to other staff on child welfare, safeguarding and child protection matters, taking part in strategy discussions and inter-agency meetings, and contributing to the assessment of students.

Our Governing Body is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people and expects all staff to share in this commitment. The post is subject to satisfactory medical checks, enhanced DBS clearance and references.

Compass Education Trust is currently engaged in discussions which are expected to result in the transfer of all schools to Harris Federation with effect from 1 September 2026 (the "Proposed Transfer"). Any employment commencing from 1 September 2026 will not be directly impacted under TUPE, but if the proposed transfer proceeds, it is anticipated that your employment will commence with Harris Federation rather than Compass Education Trust. Further details will be discussed with you at the interview stage.
