About the role
We are hiring a Finance Business Partner to support divisional finance leadership with high-quality financial insight, planning, and performance reporting. This role sits at the heart of financial decision-making, contributing across budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning, KPI reporting, and ad‑hoc analysis. You'll also support finance transformation initiatives, including work linked to a new ERP implementation, helping improve data quality, systems, and ways of working. This is a strong opportunity for a qualified finance professional who enjoys combining core FP&A delivery with project‑based improvement work in a complex B2B environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver insightful financial reporting and KPIs to business stakeholders, highlighting opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimisation.
- Support short‑and‑long‑term planning processes including budgets, forecasts, outlooks, and long‑range plans in line with Group timetables.
- Contribute to monthly and periodic performance reporting, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and meaningful commentary.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial data, processes, and systems to enhance insight and efficiency.
- Partner with Group FP&A, Tax, and Financial Control teams to ensure divisional activity aligns with Group standards and statutory requirements.
- Support ad‑hoc financial analysis and improvement projects, including workstreams related to ERP implementation.
- Provide flexible support to the Divisional FP&A Lead, contributing to wider Finance Leadership priorities as required.
To be successful in the role, you will have
- A professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Solid experience in FP&A, with exposure to business partnering and/or financial control.
- Strong understanding of B2B business models, KPIs, and financial drivers.
- Experience producing insightful reports and performance dashboards, ideally using Power BI or similar tools.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insight.
- Confidence working with senior finance and business stakeholders.
- Experience improving processes, systems, or reporting in complex organisations.
Desirable
- Experience working in large, global or matrixed organisations.
- Involvement in an ERP implementation or major finance transformation programme.
- Experience presenting analysis or recommendations to senior leaders.
