Responsibilities:

  • Operate and support AV facilities across live events, exhibitions, galleries, and meeting spaces.
  • Provide first‑line technical support, troubleshooting AV equipment and systems to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Contribute to AV projects, including design, installation, maintenance, and de‑installation for exhibitions and gallery spaces.
  • Support the setup and delivery of live and hybrid events, including digital streaming and technical coordination.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the Museum to understand requirements, manage AV assets, and continuously improve services.

Qualifications:

  • Hands‑on experience setting up, operating, and troubleshooting AV equipment, with a strong interest in live events and exhibition environments.
  • Confident communicator, able to explain technical information clearly to non‑technical colleagues and build effective working relationships.
  • Calm under pressure, able to prioritise tasks and respond flexibly in a fast‑paced, sometimes reactive environment.
