Salary: £35,993 per annum

This is the starting salary for this role, unless the successful candidate is able to evidence being in receipt of a higher salary, in which case this may be reviewed.

About the role

The Schools Programme Manager (St Pancras) leads the development and delivery of the schools programme onsite in St Pancras, London. The post-holder is responsible for managing and growing a programme of workshops and events for students and teachers inspired by our collection. The programme supports delivery of the UK curriculum with a current focus on literacy, reading for pleasure, English Language and literature, information literacy, RE, and history. The British Library’s Learning & Participation Department leads the Library’s engagement with school students, teachers, families, young people, and adult learners. The collection is at the heart of this unique learning programme which offers a range of opportunities for learners of all ages to explore, connect and interact onsite, online, across the UK and abroad.
