The British Library is seeking an experienced Head of Governance to lead and strengthen our governance framework, providing expert advice to key stakeholders, following best practice and supporting effective decision-making across the organisation. This is a pivotal role at the centre of the organisation. As Head of Governance, you will shape how the Library manages itself, how decisions are made and how accountability is maintained. You will work directly with the Chief Executive and senior leadership team to ensure that governance supports confident, effective leadership in a high-profile and complex context. The role offers the opportunity to operate at the heart of the organisation, influencing its direction, strengthening its governance and supporting its long‐term success as a national institution.
