Salary (FTE 1): £32,619 per annum

Actual salary (FTE 0.6): £19,571 per annum

This is the starting salary for this role, unless the successful candidate is able to evidence being in receipt of a higher salary, in which case this may be reviewed.

About the role

The British Library is embarking on a period of exciting transformation, with high profile capital projects, ambitious digital programmes and initiatives to grow and diversify our commercial income. We are looking for an assistant finance business partner to put finance at the heart of decision making, providing advice, analysis and support to stakeholders on operational decisions. This will include oversight, guidance and challenge to budget holders, as well as input and expert advice on business cases. The role will ensure the business understands and delivers against risk management, finance policies and performance KPIs through agreed change initiatives and operational areas.

To support you in becoming fully AAT or CCAB qualified, we offer time off (in addition to annual leave) and financial support for study and exams.
