Specialised Knowledge And Skills
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- MTS software, controller knowledge and servo-test controller knowledge is essential.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and information pertaining to assembly, periodic updates and modifications.
- Understanding of component tracking, report writing and technical drawings is essential.
- Good mechanical understanding of the design of jigs, fixtures and tooling, ensuring fit-for-purpose use.
- Have a good understanding of race car mechanical systems allowing input into fault and performance issues found.
- Comprehensive mechanical understanding gained in a high-level motorsport environment.
- Knowledge of ISO standards, computer-aided design (CAD) software and computers.
- Experience in inspecting carbon composites, understanding manufacturing processes.
- Ability to consistently work to the highest standards with an exceptional attitude towards attention to detail.
- Comfortable discussing engineering solutions and requirements and demonstrate good computer skills.
- Work to a consistently high standard in stressful and time-sensitive situations.

- Solid computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products and Microsoft Dynamics AX.
- Knowledge of 3D scanning would be beneficial (Absolute Scanner AS1 and GoScan).

- Ability to follow complex regulations related to shipment of materials and facility maintenance requirements.
Work Environment Physical Demands
- The ability to work and prioritise within a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment while retaining a methodical approach is essential.
- The role may require occasional domestic and international travel and a willingness to work long and flexible hours including weekends.
- This position may require lifting up to 50 pounds, repeated bending, squatting and manual dexterity.
- The work environment includes machinery, race cars, 7-post and other rigs, grinding debris and hazardous fluids.
- All employees must ensure compliance with the company health and safety policy and all other relevant statutory health and safety legislation.
